Ethiopia: Lowlands
Ethiopia’s lowlands hug its Eastern and Southern borders with Eritrea, Somali and Kenya. The land is pre-dominantly dry and dominated by Muslim pastoralists – the Afar, the Somali, the Oromo and the Borena alongside smaller groups such as the Argoba and the Harari. Many of these people remain nomadic or semi-nomadic to this day.
